Project planners
You should have an intermediate or higher vocational education,
specialising in mechanical or marine engineering, and the ability
to generate parts lists on the basis of working drawings, order
materials and subcontract jobs, draw up instructions for production
and field employees, and design and draw special parts using CAD
independently and be able to consult with the various departments
and contractors. Working as part of a team, having good
communication and social skills and analytical skills, being
pragmatic, alert and accurate are some essential requirements for
this position. A good command of German and English will also be to
your advantage.
Junior project planner
You should have an intermediate vocational education level,
specialising in metal working, and the ability to generate parts
lists on the basis of working drawings, order materials and
subcontract jobs, and draw up production specifications
independently and be able to coordinate a project with the various
departments and customers. One of your tasks will also be providing
the input for the CNC machine.
On-site fitters
You should have an intermediate vocational education level,
specialising in mechanical or marine engineering, with the ability
to measure out and install pipes and accessories on location,
independently and/or as part of a team, with the help of diagrams
and drawings. Experience in installing pipes and accessories and
working on location is desirable. A good command of German and
English will also be to your advantage. You must be willing to work
abroad if required.
Trainee fitters
You should have an intermediate vocational education level,
specialising in metal working, and be willing to undertake an
internal training course to learn how to measure out and install
pipes and accessories on location, independently and/or as part of
a team, with the help of diagrams and drawings. A good command of
English will also be to your advantage. You must be willing to work
abroad if required.
Welders
You should have an intermediate vocational education level, and
be able to independently assemble and weld pipe circuits in the
workshop or at various project locations, using the TIG and/or MIG
welding process. Inspections by such bodies as Lloyds, American
Bureau of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas, etc. are frequently carried
out as standard. An NIL welding diploma is desirable and will be a
requirement in due course. You may also be asked to support the
field service fitters in the Netherlands and abroad. Some basic
experience is desirable. Pipingcare will provide further specialist
technical training as required.
General employee
You should have a pre-vocational secondary education,
specialising in metal working, enabling you to perform various
activities in the workshop, including constructional work and
welding, spray painting and generally helping out in the
warehouse.
